Ken Moses increased his points lead over the field with his second win, and third final of the season.
In the final Ken meet #1 qualifier Wayne Hofmann, and Mose took the decision with a 7.42 oner Waynes 6.92 run. Jeff Tisdale was the lone semi-finalist on the 12 car field.
Again, the track was up to standards after 3 inches of rain fell on friday. LVD covered the payout, and racing got done in a quick manner.

Scott-

See you guys this weekend for the Divisional.

Racing stopped at 10:45 yesterday for rain. It rained about 1.5" in an hour. At 4:30 we ran 1st round, and had zero problems with the track.
Like I said, its not the same LVD....

I second that!!!
They did a great job given the hurdles they faced yesterday to get the racing in. I think its a combination of the repaving job and a comittment to give the racers every possibility to race.
I have a lot more confidence going into this week's divisional that its going to be the best weekend it can be. Just as an example I was in the first top dragster pair of the first round and went 7.07 at 191 with no problems at all After a terrential rain like that how can you ask for more. Thanks again LVD.
Oh yeah and the Hot Rod girls Wayne invited weren't a bad little bonus to.
